The Color Correction node provides a way to adjust the brightness, hue, saturation, gamma, and contrast of a texture node. In the following example, the Color Correct node is being used to adjust the brightness of the incoming turbulence texture node that is then connected to the Diffuse channel of an Octane shader.
The Color Correction node can be used to alter the hue of an image. Figure 2 shows the same image texture applied to two different planes using a Diffuse material. The logo on the right has been tinted green using a color correction node. Figure 3 shows a graph of the network.
